I use BibleHub.com quite often when I am preparing my blog posts.
I have physical copies of several different Bible translations which are great for personal Bible study. But when I am writing a post, it is extremely handy to be able to quickly switch back and forth between translations and to see multiple translations of individual verses on a single webpage.
Not to mention the fact that I can copy and paste the verses into my blog posts, saving me the time of typing them out!
So far, I have mainly used the site to compare translations, but it looks like there are a lot of other resources to explore as well:
-
Twenty-four different translations of the Bible
(I had no idea there were that many! I usually stick to the ones I am familiar with – KJV, NKJV, NIV, NLT, ESV, AMP, NASB)
-
Biblical Timelines
-
Multilingual Translations
-
Visual Resources
-
Audio Resources (Audio Version of the Berean Standard Bible)
-
Commentaries
-
Concordances
-
Lexicons
(I had to look that one up. Apparently “lexicon” means “dictionary.” Bible Hub lexicons break the verses down by words and phrases, detailing the meanings of the original Greek and Hebrew.)
-
And more!
Like I said, I have only brushed the surface of the resources available, but I think I may start using more of them.
